I did a more in-depth post about the show I'm likely to see tonight, but there are a lot more shows going on as well. I'm just going to provide a one-liner on each, and if you want to hear their music, I suppose you can dig it up because my SoundCloud account can only hold so much (Facebook and YouTube are good places to look).
The 23 String Band at Cervantes' Other Side: A pretty sweet bluegrass band from Kentucky who technically play with 27 strings if you count all eight on the mandolin.
Cody Canada & The Departed at Mishawaka Amphitheatre: A country band that has charted on Billboard's Top Country albums list.
The Flaming Lips at Red Rocks Amphitheatre: Sold out Red Rocks well in advance with many anticipating their performance of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon done Flaming Lips style.
Bill Frisell at PAC3: A jazz guitarist at heart but with a very diverse and experimental repertoire.
k.d. lang & The Siss Boom Gang at Chautauqua Auditorium: A veteran country/pop singer who will be playing a sold out show tomorrow at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
